Trooping The Colour celebrates the Sovereign's official birthday - even though the actual date is on the 21st April. It has traditionally been held in June to try and enjoy better weather but unfortunately with the recent reports forecasting gale force winds we can only hope for a small reprieve on the 16th June 2012, when this year's Trooping The Colour is due to take place!

The Voice's Max Milner joins Festival Line Up

Fresh from his stint on BBC1's hugely successful new talent show, The Voice, Historic Royal Palaces and PWR Events are delighted to announce singer songwriter MAX MILNER will perform his début concert at Hampton Court Palace Festival on Monday 18th June. Famous for his gravelly vocals and cool, no-frills style, Max's mentor Danny O'Donoghue from The Script, proudly compared him to a 'modern day Sting'.

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee

To mark 60 years of The Queen's reign the Diamond Jubilee will take place in 2012 and celebrations will centre around an extended weekend on across the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June. The 2012 late May bank holiday will be moved to Monday 4th June 2012 and an additional Jubilee bank holiday will be on Tuesday 5th June 2012.

Celebrate all things British with an afternoon tea to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee at Guoman's suitably regal, historic five-star The Royal Horseguards, in London's Whitehall.
