Competition Terms and Conditions

These rules apply to all prize promotions (including free draws, prize competitions and instant win offers). Depending on the nature of the prize promotions there may be additional rules imposed by us (or selected third parties) and each such offer may be subject to its own express terms and may not be available in all jurisdictions.

Unless otherwise stated, prize promotions are only open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years of age and over; excluding employees of KM (and its subsidiaries), the promoter and their immediate families, the promoters advertising agency and sales promotion consultancy, and anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the promotion.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered. Images are a representation of prizes and do not always reflect the actual prize offered. Occasionally alternatives of the same value may be substituted due to product availability.
In the event of a winner returning or refusing a prize we will draw a new winner from all previous entries and contact them to claim the prize. With time-sensitive prizes (such as event tickets) the prize will be awarded to the first entry subsequently drawn who we are able to contact, in person, by telephone.
KM and the sponsor reserve the right to substitute the prize for another prize of equal value.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter the competitions unless otherwise stated on the promotional activity with a specific competition.
By entering the prize promotions, the entrant agrees to be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material accompanying the promotion.
By entering the prize promotion, the entrant agrees to these Terms & Conditions of Use and the terms of the Privacy Policy.
When entering a prize promotion, when you consent to have your details passed on to the prize promotion sponsor, you are granting the selected prize promotion sponsor(s) the right to use your personal information to send you communications about their respective products and services, which may be of interest to you. This communication is often in the form of an email newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this information, you can un-subscribe at any time by contacting the prize promotion sponsor directly once the competition has closed.
We always demand that prize promotion sponsor(s) adhere to the same security procedures that we follow ourselves. We will never pass on your information to unauthorised third parties, and ask the same from all competition sponsors.
By entering a prize promotion you grant KM, any third parties (appointed by KM for the purpose of organising and/or managing the prize promotion) and the prize promotion sponsor(s) permission to use your name and likeness for the purpose of organising and/or managing the prize promotion, for announcing the winner of the prize promotion and for related promotional purposes.
It is assumed that by entering prize promotions which, if won, could result in time off work, your employer is in agreement to time off. When dates are specified they cannot be altered.
Depending on the nature of the prize, its use or enjoyment may be subject to further conditions or restrictions.
Winners will be notified after the draw. Winners have five (5) days, unless otherwise stated, to respond in full to prize notification, or another winner will be drawn.
By entering the prize promotions, the winner(s) consent(s) to any publicity generated as a result of the promotion, and use on this website at any time.
The website Editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Only one entry per person. Spammers will be disqualified. Entries from third parties or automated entry services are not allowed. All entry forms must be correctly fiield. Entries failing to meet these criteria will be disqualified.
KM will not accept responsibility for loss through technical fault, incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
The promotional draw is held by KM.
Individual prize promotions on www.kokovamagazine.com may also have additional terms and conditions, such as specific closing or contact dates. Any additional terms and conditions regarding a competition will be highlighted in the pages setting out the details of that competition.
Prizes may take up to 28 for delivery. If prizes are not received after 28 days please contact editor@kokovamagazine.com or telephone 01342 892588. Non-receipt of prizes after this 28 day period must be registered and acknowledged within the following 10 days, otherwise your prize will be deemed as delivered and any future claim will be null and void.
Any prize that is returned due to non-delivery will be deemed as unwanted and void of any further claims.

Severability

In the event that any term of these Terms & Conditions of Use is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms & Conditions of Use shall remain valid and enforceable.

Variation of these Terms & Conditions of Use

KM reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions of Use from time to time. Such variations become effective immediately upon the posting of the varied Terms & Conditions of Use on the website. By continuing to use the website you will be deemed to accept such variations.

General

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions of Use shall restrict or exclude any liability that we have to any party which cannot be excluded by law and in particular, and notwithstanding any term of these Terms & Conditions of Use, our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence shall not be limited or excluded in any way.
These Terms & Conditions of Use shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
