One of our passions is Escape Rooms. We have completed over 70 and are always looking for new challenges. When we discovered the escape rooms at Donnington Manor, we felt compelled to try them out, to see how we faired.

A forced rest from driving means we have been exploring our 'local' area by rail this month, and making use of a Network railcard. Kent is within easy reach and on our direct line so we headed Out & About to Tonbridge.

My daughter and I love a good musical, so when tickets become available to see Evita for Thursday 24th July, we jumped at the chance of seeing another stage show, this time at the London Palladium.

We made the most of the sunny weekends last month and started July in the same way. When we can travel and make impromptu day trips, we don't need too much encouragement to get out and about as much as possible.

We are very lucky to have a selection of amazing National Trust spaces near our home, and as members of the National Trust we pop in to many local places when we have time to spare.
