Exceptionally Oddlygood

We're unsure how we missed this company for so long, but Oddlygood® is finally on our radar - and we intend to keep them there. Our latest addiction is their creamy yogurt-style treat which is non-dairy and gluten-free.

Our local supermarket has a free-from cold section, but we don't usually look there for yoghurts as many plant-based desserts seem to lack substance and flavour. However, on a whim (and because they were on offer) we popped a couple of Oddlygood lemon desserts into our basket, which has led to the discovery of a whole collection of Oddlygood items.Oddlygood lemon Dessert

Oddlygood has been crafting plant-based products since 2018, as a spin-off from Valio (the leading dairy company in Finland). This Nordic-based company is now a global brand with a wide plant-based range of products, from oat drinks to alternatives to cheese, yoghurts and desserts.

Plant-based and great taste. No excuses, no compromises. Tasty food fills our hearts and blows our minds. Through the history of time, we have chosen munchy over dreary to stay happy and alive. But now food needs to be both tasty and good for the planet. Luckily that’s easier than ever. All our products are non-dairy and gluten-free.

Oddlygood launched in the UK in June 2023, and in 2024 acquired pioneering British plant-based company Rude Health, taking steps towards its ambition of becoming a leading plant-based company within the UK and Europe.

For us, this means we may finally get the deliciously dense desserts we crave, along with an extended range of free-from delights. A quick check of their Instagram page reveals an easy whipping cream; something we have been without for far too long! Now we are on the search for more stockists to explore their range.
