To kick off the first May Bank Holiday of 2013 the famous seaside resort of Torquay in South Devon will be holding TorqEat, a brand-new FREE Food and Drink festival on Saturday 4th May. The event, organised by Torquay BID and supported by Taste of the West, will be located on the vibrant Torquay harbourside and fan out over beautiful Cary Gardens.
The 17th annual Natural & Organic Products Europe Trade event, organised by Diversified UK, has announced record breaking attendance figures for its 2013 edition, which took place at London's Olympia on 7th-8th April. With 8,810 industry professionals from 76 different countries packing the aisles over the two days, the show enjoyed an unparalleled 20% increase in unique attendees (excluding revisits) compared to 7,352 in 2012.
Stockholm-based rock band Bonefish release their debut album on 18th April 2013. The self-titled album is largely influenced by Americana/alternative rock and all songs have been written by frontman/singer/guitarist Bie Karlsson, who was the singer, guitarist and song-writer for Top 10 Swedish band Docenterna. The album was recorded last year at the internationally renowned Decibel Studios in Stockholm. Bie Karlsson co-produced the album with sound engineer Dag Lundquist (The Hives, Caesars, Ulf Lundell, Thåström).

RAW is delighted to announce its new partnership with one of London's most vibrant food havens, Ottolenghi - who will be hosting the official RAW wine shop both at the show, taking place from 19th - 20th May, and also from its online store. The official RAW Wine shop will launch on the Ottolenghi webstore mid-April and run through to the end of May. Giving wine fans a preview of what's on offer at the show, the online store will stock a wide selection of approximately 30 wines from the show's exhibitors.
From the 11th - 17th May local loaf lovers across the land are uniting to help everyone celebrate Real Bread and its makers. As Britain's only national Real Bread charity, the Campaign is also encouraging professional and homebakers to help raise money for its work. In addition to locally-organised activities, the Campaign is running a week-long bready online auction.
