Celebrate Chinese New Year in the capital at Ripley's Believe It or Not! London

Welcome in the Year of the Snake at the capital's most bizarre attraction, Ripley's Believe It or Not! London, this Chinese New Year Sunday 10th February 2013. Located just a stone's throw from London's China Town, the attraction is home to over 700 unbelievable artefacts from across the globe including a giant pagoda made out of solid jade, an ancient Chinese moneybox pillow used to deter thieves and an impressive statue of a Chinese guilt warrior.

Love Food Festival Kicks Off 2013 with a Fantastically Warming Festival of Food

Kitchen Waste Alchemy at the Budock Vean

Cornwall's top country house hotel is starting the New Year with some startling facts and figures about its new kitchen waste composting policy - which is adding to its substantial green credentials and saving money too. The Budock Vean, on the Helford River, has been doing some number crunching during the past two months, in which staff have managed to reduce the amount of food waste from the kitchens by a third.

Wild Food Foraging With A "Hungry Boy" At Cornwall's Budock Vean

Thom Hunt from Channel 4's "Three Hungry Boys" will be out foraging the grounds and Helford River shoreline of Cornwall's Budock Vean hotel in April 5th - 8th April 2013 helping guests make the most of the Great British Countryside with a focus on wild food cooking. Thom Hunt is one third of Hugh Fearnely-Whittingstall's Three Hungry Boys and is the Hunter/Fisher/Forager star the popular Channel 4 show.
