Satonamillion gave Hickstead visitors their money's worth today when winning the Amlin Plus Eventing Grand Prix for Zoe Adams, adding just five penalty seconds to their fast time of 185.66sec. Zoe, 22, finished seventh in this class in 2011 and fifth in 2012, making it third time lucky for the Essex-based rider.
Local food producers Love My Cow, Bensons Totally Fruity, Dolcetti Ice Cream Co, Ross and Ross, Whale Ale, Relish the Taste Chutneys, Fair and Square Chocolate Brownies and the Fine Oil and Spice Company will be among many local producers selling their produce at the Cotswold Family Food and Farming Festival this September. The festival is to be located at Bourton Vale Cricket Club (Bourton on the Water) and will be a jam-packed day of food and fun, with activities for parents and children alike from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday 15th September 2013
Situated near St Austell Bay, Knightor has succeeded in successfully combining their winery and restaurant to create a serious destination for both wine aficionados and food lovers. Particular attention has been paid in the restaurant to the use of local Cornish produce with a Mediterranean twist, with dishes of immense flavour due to the freshness of the ingredients.
Now in its 12th year, the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival is a twice yearly celebration of great local produce. Running citywide from the 5th - 15th September 2013 the 'Autumn Harvest' incorporates the return of the Big Sussex Market (7th - 8th) and the huge Sussex & The World Market, Live Food Show and Children's Food Festival (14th - 15th).
