With headline acts including Jessie J and The Vamps, Soul II Soul, Rae Morris and Natahn Ball it was always going to be a winner on stage at Boomerang Hickstead this past weekend. But the added sunshine, smooth running and on-time acts really put the icing on the cake for this premier Hickstead event - that is set to Boomerang back in 2016.
As Hickstead heads towards its 60th anniversary year in 2020, the showground continues to diversify and thrive - and yesterday we were honoured to be invited to the first day of Boomerang Hickstead, a brand new two-day music festival. This event will introduce the All England Jumping Course to a whole new audience, and will allow the Bunn family to continue to improve Hickstead's facilities and invest in equestrian sport.

CarFest returned to its spiritual home of Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire over the exceptionally wet and wild August Bank Holiday Weekend (28th-30th August) for the second of this year's two sell-out family festivals. As tradition now dictates, CarFest South again combined the magical worlds of eye-catching cars, pulsating live music and mouth-watering food with heaps and heaps of fabulous fun for all the family… and, this time, with some typical festival mud thrown in, following all the recent torrential rain in southern England.
Launching on Wednesday 9th September, The Capital Afternoon Tea aims to revive traditional British favourites including the Victoria sponge, Bakewell tart and crumpets - all baked by the Michelin-starred team behind Outlaw's at The Capital. In the spirit of The Great British Bake Off, London's favourite family-owned and family-run hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge, is taking tea back to its roots, to the genuine English experience it once was.
