Mindfulness Matters

Mindfulness Matters

Everyone is talking about mindfulness; celebrities such as Emma Watson and Michelle Obama are said to practice, while leading businesses are introducing meditation sessions to ensure their employees wellbeing.

Trying to juggle work, home life and social commitments, along with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, can really take its toll. Mindfulness gives us the tools we can use to move past these stresses and distractions.

The OM Yoga Show is the perfect opportunity to explore these ideas and learn how mindfulness can help everyone. Varsha Shukla will teach Calm in the City, a mindfulness meditation for busy people. Learn how to experience greater calm, clarity and connection, giving yourself the chance for greater mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. An ideal class for those who lead frantic, modern lives, Varsha will provide simple and practical tools for an increased sense of calm, and enhanced focus.

In addition to this, Louise Palmer-Masterton will be leading a mindfulness class. A leading teacher with camyoga, Louise will teach simple techniques to bring you into the present moment.

Mindfulness helps us to recognise the way our mind plays tricks that increase stress and worry, allowing us to experience life with a greater joy. Yoga and mindfulness go hand in hand; taking time out for ourselves is very important in an increasingly busy and connected world.

Coming along to the OM Yoga Show is the perfect opportunity to unplug and relax, and learn some simple techniques to take forward into everyday life.
