Food lovers can see TV celebrity chef James Martin cooking up gastronomic delights using the best ingredients Cumbria has to offer. James will be giving three cookery demonstrations at the Taste Cumbria Festival on Sunday 30th September 2012, stunning food lovers with recipes such as smoked haddock with Cumbrian rarebit, sole with Morecambe Bay Shrimps, vanilla and Grasmere Gingerbread cheesecake and slow roast fillet of Cumbrian beef with wild Whinlatter Forest mushrooms.

Zippos Circus presents an action-packed two hours of high energy acts from across the Globe. Their high energy family show GOLD is hosted by Ringmaster Norman Barrett, MBE and the 2012 show highlights include the Delbosq clowns from France, Hip-Hop tumbling from Kenya, contemporary juggling from the Ukraine, stunning equestrian routines courtesy of Yasmine Smart and, back by popular demand, the utterly jaw-dropping Lucius Team on their motorbikes in The Globe of Death.

But his topic soon turns from tobacco to the pitfalls of marriage and the trials and tribulations of being Nikolai Nikotine.

Have A Go sports are among the activities that will be on offer as a West Sussex piece of the Paralympic Flame arrives in Horsham this Saturday (25th August). A Flame Celebration Event, led by Horsham District Council on behalf of the Ahead of the Game partnership, will take place in Horsham Park to celebrate its arrival and the activities start at 10:30am.
