The Free From Food Awards 2024

The Free From Food Awards were launched in 2008 to encourage innovation and celebrate excellence in the free from food and drink industry. They are currently the UK's only industry awards for 'free from' food and drink.

Year on year, the quality of entries increases, with the focus moving from showstopping, groundbreaking innovation, to product delivery - such as packaging and quality evolution, which is closing the gap between free from and main category alternatives. But for that food to be truly safe we believe that everyone in the industry should be collaborating to ensure a uniform approach to clear ingredient labelling.

The Free From Food Awards party was held in central London on Friday 21st June 2024, where CRAVE was crowned 'Free From Small Brand of the Year', with their gluten- and milk-free snack, The Big Dipper, winning the coveted title of 'Free From Food Product of the Year'.

Over in the Drink Awards corner, Gun Brewery scooped two golds, and their Numb Angel Lager won the Free From Drink Product of The Year. At the same time, the Co-op successfully defended their Convenience Retailer of the Year crown.

The Free From Food Awards continues to highlight the need for allergen-free options in the food and drink industry, and by continuing with the awards each year, it promotes and encourages those who are trying to make eating out and food on the go a much safer options for the rising number of people living with intolerances and allergies.
