Dogs Unite - Supporting Our Four-Legged Guide Dog Heroes
This year The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (Guide Dogs) are launching Dogs Unite, and calling all super dogs to come together to support our four-legged guide dog heroes.
This is dogs helping dogs. Dogs United.
Do you know a dog who loves a walk? Now's your chance to turn your hound into a hero.
Dogs Unite (proudly sponsored by Eukanuba) will be getting tails wagging this year by uniting thousands of dogs and their owners at sponsored dog walks across the country.
Dogs Unite encourages dogs of all shapes and sizes, to become heroes for the day by raising funds for their idols, our life-changing guide dogs. This is the only sponsored dog walk of its kind allowing dogs to collect sponsorship from their friends.
The headline event of the year will be held at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London on 14th June 2014.
Aiming to attract 10,000 people, this event will provide the ultimate day out for all the family. The sponsored dog walk will be the centre of a wide range of other activities such as fun dog shows hosted with our official partner the Kennel Club, awesome displays, celebrity appearances and family entertainment.
Book your tickets now - the registration fee for anyone who is 13 years old or over for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is £20.00 per ticket. Dogs and children aged 12 and under, when accompanied by an adult, go free!
There are plenty of other large and small events taking place all over the country. Find a walk near you or get your family, friends and community together and organise your own walk. It couldn't be simpler, and we’ll be there every step of the way. Find an event near you and register your super dog today.
The Dogs Unite website has a whole host of exciting fundraising materials, including fun posters and sponsorship forms, making it easy for your favourite canine to be a hero.
All dogs who take part by raising vital funds receive their very own cape (an accessory a hero simply can't be without!), plus a special doggy goody bag.
