A Chocolate Filled Month
Finally I have a day to myself in the office and everything is quiet. After a mad October I can now look ahead to the fun of the festive season that is rushing our way - and the Denbies Chocolate Fair later this month.
As our readers will know, aside from being here at Kokova Magazine, I am also busy booking in chocolatiers and chocolate makers for our sister site over at Discover Cacao, which runs chocolate events across the South East.
This week will also see the very first print issue of the Discover Cacao magazine. You can pick up a free copy at Denbies Wine Estate from this weekend and discover all the lovely chocolate coming to show for the Denbies Chocolate Fair on November 20.
Tomorrow I will be at the Spirit of Christmas Fair at Olympia, London and combining my visit with a stop in at the Winter Antiques & Art Fair too. The Spirit Fairs are a great way to start getting in to the festive spirit because they are full of magical moments, discovering new exhibitors and producers, sampling tasty treats and nibbles, as well as stocking up on a few gift ideas.
Combined with a stroll around the Winter Antiques & Art Fair in the adjoining hall makes it all so much more exciting. Stepping back in time and seeing all the beautiful period pieces on offer is something I really enjoy.
But, today means a welcome rest. With the Discover Cacao magazine on the print press and signed off, with the planning for tomorrow taken care of and with plans for the next First Step art exhibitions already in place for Christmas at Denbies too, I can take some time to catch up on my blog and on all those little outstanding features waiting for reply.
The coming weekend will see our skies alight with fireworks so please do remember that not everyone loves the noise - try to attend an organised display, and if you are having fireworks at home it might be nice to let the neighbours know, especially if they have pets. That gives everyone a chance to enjoy the evening without worry.
