It is Wednesday and Week 3 of the current series of the Great British Bake Off, meaning that tonight viewers were treated to Bread Week. Along with the other millions of viewers I watched to find out who succeeded in the challenges set. Earlier today I had the opportunity to talk to Jo Wheatley - and ask her a few questions about this exceptionally popular show.

Next week at Olympia, the Speciality Fine Food Fair trade show will incorporate the Speciality Chocolate Show, bringing chocolatiers and chocolate makers from all over, in to London's Olympia from the 4th-6th September 2016. Two chocolate makers from Sweden,award-winning Malmö Chokladfabrik and raw chocolate makers Rawchokladfabriken are both joining the event, to showcase their chocolate selections.

When Chris Evans teamed up with Jody Scheckter, a former F1 champion and the man who owns Laverstoke Park Farm, the venue for CarFest South was set over four years ago. And this year's CarFest certainly will be a tough act to top. A sell-out audience soaked up the summer sun, a captivating collection of cars, adrenaline-fuelled activities, fabulous food and timeless tunes.

RumFest has announced its return to the UK capital for the nation's biggest celebration of rum and rum culture. Pulling out all the stops for an impressive 10th anniversary year, the event will host a myriad of rum-related offerings with the spirit's leading brands and aficionados all jam-packed into two days at London's ILEC, from the 22nd to 23rd October.
