Reigate & Surrounding Areas
The historic Surrey market town of Reigate, is at the foot of the North Downs and within easy reach of high quality shopping and dining, yet close to open countryside. Ideally located, Reigate is a few minutes from Junction 8 of the M25 and other transport links include Reigate railway station.

Reigate benefits from being a food oriented environment with many restaurants and eateries in and around the area. Reigate enjoys popular and well attended public events in the town including regular Street Food Markets and the annual one day Christmas Fayre which generates a healthy footfall of an estimated 10,000 people.

The Priory
The Priory was originally founded in the early 13th century and was converted to a mansion in Tudor times following the Dissolution of the Monastries. In June 1541 Henry VIII granted the Manor and Priory of Reigate to Lord William Howard, uncle of Catherine Howard, Henry's fifth wife. Reigate Priory became the family home and the old monastic buildings were converted to become a comfortable Tudor mansion.
