A Man Who Grows a Mo knows How To Rock for Movember 2012

Movember, the month formerly known as November, is when brave and selfless men around the world grow a moustache, with the support of the women in their lives, to raise awareness and funds for men's health - specifically prostate and testicular cancer. Movember was established in 2003 by a few friends over a beer in a pub just outside Melbourne, Australia. The goal was simple - to create a campaign promoting the growth of the moustache among likeminded people and having fun along the way.

Top UK Fish and Chip Shops Take Part in Norway Study

The top ten finalists of the Independent Takeaway Fish & Chip Shop of the Year Award at this year's National Fish & Chip Awards 2013 were invited to take part in an educational trip to Norway (1st-3rd October), hosted by the Norwegian Seafood Council. As guests of the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) the regional winners enjoyed a three day, all-expenses paid study trip to Ålesund in Norway.

UK Barista Championships to Return to The London Coffee Festival In 2013

The Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) UK Chapter and Allegra Events Ltd., organisers of The London Coffee Festival, have announced exciting plans for the SCAE 2013 UK events calendar. The London Coffee Festival, which is due to take place on 25th - 28th April 2013, is expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors with organisers adding an additional industry day to the event.

'Trott' on down to Ripley's Believe It Or Not! London

To celebrate the arrival of the 2012 Olympic torch signed by Team GB cycling champion, Laura Trott into the Ripley's 'Legends Gallery', the central London attraction is encouraging visitors to test their stamina and see if they can come close to Laura's impressive 500 metre ladies time trial record of 35.110 seconds via a static bike. Those who aren't quite up to Laura's 'Olympic standards' can still 'spin themselves' to free entry.

A Niche by Aneesh The Chocolatier

Last month we met The Chocolatier at The Cake & Bake Show, just as he was laying the foundations to his amazing dinosaur fossil sculpture - made completely from chocolate!
