Now in its eighth year, The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show, the UK's finest and largest whisky event, is taking place in London on the first weekend of October 2016.

This much-loved festival brings together hundreds of the world's most sought-after whiskies for just two days, with guests invited to taste exclusive luxury drams, meet legendary figures from the whisky world, enjoy a variety of culinary delights and soak up the unique atmosphere for both seasoned drinkers and novices.
INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET IS... the chance to mingle with the stars of the whisky world, engaging and educational seminars and masterclasses with interactive whisky experience from Lagavulin to celebrate its 200th anniversary. More than 600 whiskies to try over the weekend (10% more than in 2015) with more than 120 brands with a focus on premium whiskies and an interactive cocktail bar. Tasty two-course, whisky-infused meal, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, which means this is incredible value for money.

Dream Drams - an unprecedented collection of more than 45 ultra-premium rare whiskies. Each ticket allows guests the chance to try one complimentary Dream Dram worth up to £1,000 per bottle and this year's line-up will feature Glenfarclas 60 Year Old, the show's most expensive Dream Dram ever, at £14,750.

The theme for this year's Show is 'Masterpieces' and to celebrate this there are some of the masters of the whisky trade hosting masterclasses, Q&A sessions and much more. Guests include;

  • Richard Paterson aka 'The Nose' - master distiller for The Dalmore, and 50 years' service for Whyte & Mackay
  • Bill Lumsden - director of distilling and whisky creation for The Glenmorangie, and known as the 'Prof Emmett Brown of single malt', renowned for his innovations in whisky ageing
  • Alan Winchester, master distiller for The Glenlivet - one of the most respected whiskymakers in Scotland, with more than 40 years' experience
  • David Fitt - chief whisky maker for The English Whisky Company and a former brewer, well known for his love of experimentation
  • Shinji Fukuyo - chief blender for Suntory who studied in Scotland and helped create whiskies for Bowmore, Glen Garioch and Auchentoshan. Now oversees production of some of Japan’s most famous whiskies
  • Ichiro Akuto - founder of Chichibu Distillery, one of the smallest distillery in Japan producing limited and highly regarded whiskies
  • ...other guests include Dave Broom, George Grant, Ian Chang, Brian Kinsman and many more!

Food producers exhibiting at the show will be serving inspiring pairings with whisky. Guests include;

  • Cannon & Cannon - British charcuterie, seasonal and distinctive local produce from Norfolk
  • Paxton & Whitfield - Royal Warrant-holding cheesemonger to HM Queen Victoria in 1850
  • The Whisky Exchange chocolates paired with our favourite drams
  • Ibericos de Huelva - producing top-quality ham for more than 90 years in Andalucia
  • Smith and Sinclair - specially made confectionery for the show using Old Pulteney whisky
