The Hidden Cause Behind Your Musculoskeletal Injuries

Specialist Biomechanics & BodyMOT Coach Simon Wellsted joins us to bring you his Injury Prevention Series; a look at how we can prevent many of the injuries we sustain in everyday life. Most musculoskeletal injuries don't "just happen". We all know that something out of the ordinary or unexpected can happen to us in sport (somebody tackling us badly in football or rugby or similar) but the truth is that well over 90% of musculoskeletal injury is non-contact, where nobody else is involved.

Give Your Body an MOT with a Unity Sport Therapies Specialist Biomechanics Coach

We all take our cars for their yearly MOT, to check that they are road worthy and diagnose any potential problems before they cause a break-down. By regularly servicing our cars we can keep an eye on their overall 'health', make sure that they have the right balance of oil and fluids and check their exteriors for wear and tear. So why don't we do the same for ourselves?

Taking Recycling Seriously with CarTakeBack

When it comes to buying and selling cars, there is plenty of advice to be found that helps people choose a reputable dealer. Unfortunately, despite the Government's best efforts to prosecute, there are still unlicensed operators throughout the UK, who will readily accept scrap cars.

Be Seen Be Safe with a SeeMeMore High Visibility LED Reflective Light Vest

I like to think I am a careful driver. As an ex-motorbike rider I am aware of the dangers of not being seen. I am also aware that many drivers are still not as observant of other road users as they could be. The fact remains that if you are not in a car many road users simply don't see you. So why make yourself less visible when you could easily stand out from the crowd and make sure you are seen with a 'See Me More' High Visibility LED Reflective Light Vest.

BVA Vets Advise 'Dogs on Lead' During Lambing Season

The BVA vets are advising dog owners to keep their dogs on leads around sheep during the lambing season this year to reduce the rising cost and injury caused by loose dogs chasing and attacking sheep and young lambs while offlead on walks. It is good practice for owners to keep dogs on leads at all times when walking near livestock but it is particularly important during the spring.
