Today The Source website is celebrating its first birthday and what a year it has been! Last December saw chaos across the UK - with the coldest temperatures ever recorded; schools closing and airports coming to a standstill - and amidst all of that came the launch of The Source website. Over the year we have had the pleasure of working with industry experts, including The Soil Association, WWF and the UNEP; enabling us to bring you an insight into the many different aspects of food production and farming methods, deforestation, endangered species, organic farming, conserving energy and tips on how you can help save the planet at home.
Wetlands lie at the interface of terrestrial and aquatic habitats; they possess a unique mixture of species, conditions, and interactions; and are among our planet's most diverse and varied habitats.
Allergy and intolerance seem to be on the rise - with more people finding they have sensitivity to certain foods or substances that they encounter on a day-to-day basis. With Food Allergy and Intolerance Week running from the 23rd to the 29th January we ask 'what is an allergy?' and 'how does it differ to an intolerance or sensitivity?'
