Take a Box of Eggs for British Egg Week

A new cookbook is being launched for British Egg Week 1st - 7th October 2012, after recent research has shown that children either cannot or will not learn to cook even the most basic of foods - like boiling an egg!. "Take a box of eggs" features more than 100 recipes ranging from the basics of boiling, poaching and frying, through everyday staples such as Tortilla and Quiche Lorraine.

Free Health MOTs Offered in Horsham Town Centre

Anyone wanting to have a health MOT can attend a free drop-in session in Horsham town centre each Wednesday until the middle of December. The Horsham District Wellbeing Hub, a free, friendly and impartial service from Horsham District Council, the NHS and other partners, will be continuing to run the confidential drop-in sessions on Wednesdays in the town centre from now until 19th December 2012.
