Kuoni and The East India Company Join Forces to bring alive the Ancient Art of Tea Drinking this November

Just recently we were earnestly encouraged to move away from the current trend of drinking copious amounts of coffee - and gently pleaded with to try and give tea back some of the attention it appears to have lost in recent years. So it is great news to hear that leading travel company Kuoni has joined forces with the recently re-launched East India Company, to bring alive the ancient art of tea drinking at two exciting customer events.

6th Generation of Booth Steps Up to Join the Family Business

It is always a proud moment when a family business welcomes a new member - so welcoming a 6th generation family member must be a very special occasion. Since June 1847, five generations of the Booths family have led E.H. Booth & Co. Ltd from modest beginnings, with just one small shop in Blackpool, to the present day where the company trades 28 stores across Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire and Greater Manchester and will open its 29th store in Milnthorpe in November. The family owned and operated Lancashire based retailer Booths now welcomes the 6th generation of Booth into the family business.

First Choice Launches New Wildlife Destination Tool for Young 'Explorers'

First Choice has launched a new interactive destination tool aimed at younger travellers and animal enthusiasts, focusing on wildlife around the world. The 'Where in the World?' map allows viewers to look up concise information on different animals globally, and also find out which times seasonally they are more likely to spot them. Younger travellers will be able to find out animal facts such as appearance, eating habits, weight and size, and filter animal types by 'air', 'land' and 'sea'.
