Centuries ago, The East India Company (EIC) began to transform our nation's tastes. Ships and explorers returned from distant lands carrying foreign flavours that brought vibrancy and colour to the nation's dining tables, changing our palates forever. Chocolate, spices, and even tea, once new and extraordinary luxuries, soon became an indispensable part of our lives. Last week we made our own journey of discovery and paid a visit to the East India Company's flagship store in Conduit Street, London.

Marina Laslo, the stunning Russian mezzo soprano hailed as one of the leading exponents of Russian Romances, is no newcomer to recording, she has already released five critically acclaimed albums. Now for the first time her debut CD Classic Revolution is to be made available in the UK. Released on July 15th 2013, all tracks are arranged, performed and recorded by Graham Preskett and the album is released and distributed by Absolute.
