Chris Evans Does It Again

The second of Chris Evans' spectacular fund raising CarFest extravaganzas celebrating great cars, scrumptious food and rousing live music was another huge hit with more than 25,000 festival goers savouring two-days of dazzling entertainment in the sunshine at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire. Following fast in the wheeltracks of the inaugural CarFest held at Jody Scheckter's Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire over the August Holiday weekend, CarFest North (8th-9th September) once again showcased the radio and TV personality's three greatest passions with Evans himself right to the fore throughout the fun-filled weekend.

Grab a Great Cuppa at the Small Batch Coffee Company

Being coffee lovers and going caffeine-free, along with having to ditch the dairy and gluten, can be a real bind when it comes to finding a great cuppa. But this weekend we went out and about in Brighton and took in the delights of the Brighton and Hove Food Festival on Jubilee Street - and discovered the Small Batch Coffee Company - and possibly the world's best decaf soya latte!

World Rally Champion Set For CarFest North

Renowned rally star Petter Solberg is the latest champion to join the star-studded line-up at this weekend's CarFest North 8th-9th September to be staged at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire. The 37-year-old Norwegian who won the World Rally Championship in 2003 and currently competes for the Ford World Rally Team, confirmed his participation on both Saturday and Sunday when chatting live on air to Evans on this morning’s Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2.

Curry Battle to go to the Wire as Teams are Announced

2012 has already seen gargantuan Olympic efforts from people throughout Britain and it seems that they are applying no less an effort to the battle for the 10th competition for the title of Curry Capital of Britain. Run as part of 15th National Curry Week (8th-14th October), the event is lead sponsored by Patak's and takeaway specialists Hungryhouse.co.uk and is an exhaustive event running from April to October involving restaurants, the curry-loving public and local councils.

Best of British for National Baking Week 2012

In a year when we know what it is to be 'truly British', National Baking Week 2012 is taking over from the 15th - 21st October with a celebration of what makes our nation great. To mark the event, a map of the UK made entirely of cake will be created and housed at prestigious shopping and leisure destination Westfield Stratford City.
