There's More To Tattoos Than Just The Ink at the London Tattoo Convention 2012

On the last weekend in September we headed up to Tobacco Dock, Wapping for the 8th London International Tattoo Convention. Billed as "the biggest, best, most significant, and utterly awesome convention in the world" we went along to see just how awesome it was going to be - and to find out if there was more to this weekend than simply watching people get inked.

Approximately 25,000 visitors poured into Cockermouth over 29th and 30th September, as organisers of 2012's Taste Cumbria Food Festival have announced the highest visitor figures ever. A town fast gaining a reputation as a food lovers' paradise, Cockermouth and the Taste Cumbria Food Festival is now firmly established as a date in the diary.

National Eating Out/In Week 18th - 24th November 2012 is run to celebrate the fantastic diversity of cuisines available to diners in Britain and also to raise funds for the less fortunate in the world. This fun event, which widens its focus this year to include dining in, has a more serious side in recognising the plight of the malnourished and disaster-effected people around the world with all proceeds of fund raising events going to The Curry Tree Charitable Fund.

Organisers of the BBC Good Food Show 9th - 11th November 2012 have announced that they will be bringing the show back to the capital once again! BBC Good Food Show London boasts the city's largest indoor speciality food market and some of the nations favourite TV programmes brought to life! The show will see some of the biggest names in the business together under one roof including James Martin, John Torode, Gregg Wallace, Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry.
