Brighton's Indian Summer restaurant to Relocate

Brighton's award-winning Indian Summer restaurant is closing at 10.30pm on Sunday 24th May - before relocating to larger premises next door at 70 East Street, Brighton BN1 1HQ - reopening on Thursday 28th May at 6pm. Following an £85,000 reinvestment and the creation of at least three new jobs for kitchen, bar and front of house staff, the new larger venue will seat 90 diners, half as many again as its current site.

Exciting entertainment announced for the 2015 Kent County Show

The organising team for the Kent County Show is pleased to announce the main displays and entertainment for the event, which takes place on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2015. The star attraction on Friday 10th July will be RAF Aerobatic Team, The Red Arrows. One of the world’s premier display teams will be flying above the Kent Showground to the delight of visitors.

The British Wildlife Centre was founded by David Mills, in the heart of Surrey in 1997 and today this exceptional centre is home to a large variety of British wildlife. The centre is open every weekend and Bank Holiday. For other days, during term times, the Centre accommodate school visits from the region and feel it is very important that children have the opportunity to see and learn more about our own native wildlife, so that they may develop a life-long interest in its protection and survival into the future.

After two successful years at London's Alexandra Palace, organisers are taking the award-winning three-day annual show back to Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire where it was launched in 2011.

Saltwood on the Green backs NSPCC Plant Fair

Saltwood on the Green restaurant, near Hythe in Kent, is backing the NSPCC's annual fund raising Garden & Plant Fair at Saltwood Castle on Saturday 2nd May, by putting special Chocolate Brownie dish on its menu. The restaurant will donate proceeds of the £5 dish sold all week from 2nd May to the charity.
