London's spectacular Christmas destination returns to Hyde Park for another fun year of winter cheer with FREE admission and even more entertainment and new attractions than before.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has firmly become the Capital's most popular and dazzling winter event, offering the best Christmas day out for families, friends and tourists.

With beautifully decorated attractions stretching from Hyde Park Corner to the Serpentine, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland provides festive fun in the heart of London.

Since its opening in 2007, the event has attracted 10 million visitors and has been a huge hit with the celebrity crowds, those who have been spotted enjoying the festive treats have included: Prince Harry, Kate Moss, One Direction, Kelley Rowland, Amanda Holden, Russell Brand, Pixie Lott, Claudia Schiffer & Matthew Vaughn, Chris Martin, Tom Cruise, Liam Gallagher and Liz Hurley.

PWR Events and The Royal Parks are thrilled to announce the main attractions that will be Winter Wonderlandmaking a welcome return this year. The UK's largest outdoor Ice Rink will once again be located around the picturesque setting of the historic Victorian Band Stand.

Stretching over 1,600m2 the ice rink will be transformed in the evenings into a magical scene, as 108,000 pea-lights suspended above the rink will illuminate the ice. There will also be live music played throughout the day and evening on the Band Stand.

Other favourite attractions making a welcome return include the iconic Giant Observation Wheel and the beautiful Angels Christmas Market. Featuring over one hundred chalets, the market will offer unusual and handmade gifts and crafts, including ceramics, candles, jewellery, clothing and beauty products.

There will also be an additional new market within Winter Wonderland - the Yuletide Market which will offer traditional Christmas items such as wooden toys, nativity scenes and decorations.

For the younger visitors Santa Land will return with a host of new and exciting attractions and Father Christmas, who last year handed out 50,000 presents, will be there every-day to hand out gifts to those children who have been good!

Back by popular demand the UK's favourite circus, Zippos Circus will make a welcome return to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.

This year there will be a bigger and more spectacular super-heated Big Top tent, with a larger performing arena and new luxury seating areas, all located beside the new Circus Plaza. Each day, Zippos will perform two new shows - a daytime show for all the family, Zippos Christmas Circus and an evening show for older thrill seekers, Zippos Cirque Berserk.

An exciting addition to this year's Circus arena will be VIP opera boxes Winter Wonderland Aseating 4 people each, where you can watch the show from the comfort of your own private box, with a bottle of champagne and delicious chocolates, which are all included in the price.

Following a sell-out success last year, Zippos Christmas Circus is a perfect treat for all the family. A mix of colour, comedy and thrills, starring world-class jugglers, clowns and aerialists, the show is fun-packed from start to finish and at 50 minutes is the perfect length for little ones.

For the evening crowd Zippos returns with a brand new show Cirque Berserk. A mad storyteller and his extraordinary travelling band of fairy-tale freaks who are forever fated to travel by night - vanishing before morning comes, peddling his grim tales inside of the daredevil circus he carries with him.

Motorcycle riders take flight in the awe inspiring Globe of Death, a beyond-thrilling spectacle starring four extraordinary Brazilians riding together at up to 60mph in an unbelievably small steel globe, while fairy demons mount mechanical quad-wheeled contraptions, a death defying knife throwing act, and a daredevil high wire act, while the thrill ride continues into the night! Adrenalin will surely rush through your veins as Cirque Berserk is a folk tale told as never before. Cirque Berserk puts the Grimm back into circus.

The ever popular Bavarian Village will be back ready to serve even more bratwurst and mulled wine whilst hosting live music throughout the day and evening.

In addition, there will also be many more restaurants and bars all which will be announced in due course.

There will also be an array of traditional and thrill-seeking rides throughout Winter Wonderland, with some very exciting new additions to 2012 including a few firsts for the UK!
