Warner Edwards launch Rhubarb Gin

We love the clean taste of Warner Edwards Gins, so were doubly excited to see their new Rhubarb Edition at last weeks Spirit of Christmas Fair. Warner Edwards Rhubarb GinPretty in pink and full on in flavour, we found it exceptionally drinkable, and just right for Christmas as a present for others - or a treat to yourself.

The founders of Warner Edwards Artisan Distillery in Northamptonshire have added the Limited Edition Victoria's Rhubarb Gin to their portfolio. Joining the already hugely popular Harrington Dry Gin and the seasonal Elderflower Infused Gin, Victoria’s Rhubarb Gin, 40%abv, is available at Fortnum & Masons, RRP £35.

The rhubarb used in this new Gin was originally grown in Queen Victoria's garden. It made it's way from this regal location to Warner Edwards via the President's residence in Dublin and Crown Estate Land. The rhubarb has always been grown in the traditional Victorian kitchen garden style, having lots of organic matter to nourish it.

Post distillation, Warner Edwards use the rhubarb and just a touch of sugar to infuse their Double Gold Medal Winning Harrington Dry Gin (San Francisco World Gin Awards 2014). The Warner Edwards' seal of approval is then given, as each and every bottle is numbered, labelled, and wax sealed on-site by hand. The design of this very special limited edition was done by bluemarlin, Warner Edwards' creative partners from the very beginning.
