Kick Off the Easter Weekend with a Visit to the Brighton & Hove Spring Harvest

With the majority of evening events already sold out, now is the time to start planning your visits to the Brighton & Hove Spring Harvest. A great selection of free events are still on offer over the 12 days from the 16th to 27th April 2014, so there is something for everyone.Sussex and the World Food

The Sussex & the World Market, Live Food Show, Discover the Origin food and wine masterclasses, Reggae Rum Shack and Children's Food Festival are all offering free entry and running on the Brighton seafront Hove Lawns from 10am - 5pm on Good Friday 18th and Easter Saturday 19th April 2014.

The Big Sussex Market offers a weekend dedicated exclusively to Sussex growers, producers and restaurateurs and can be found located on New Road, alongside the Royal Pavilion from Saturday 26th - Sunday 27th April (again, free entry).

For Easter Monday the Children's Easter Egg Hunt in Royal Pavilion Gardens runs from 11am - 2.30pm. Easter Egg HuntThis event is raising money for Rockinghorse, the fundraising arm of the local children's hospital, with a £3 donation per child to participate.

Monday also sees the Brighton Food Trail bring together 10 restaurants and bars offering tasters from their menus on a self-guided walking tour of the town centre. From 2 - 5pm you can join in the journey for as little as £10.

The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival is the largest festival of its kind in the south of England.

With local producers, growers, restaurants, bars and food retailers firmly at its heart, it's a showcase of the fantastic food, drink and hospitality to be found in the city and surrounding Sussex.
