Half Term Halloween Fun with Love Food Festival

On Sunday 28th October 2012, you can join in the fun from 10.30am - 4.00pm at Paintworks, Bristol.

Celebrate your love of food with a fun filled, spooktacular FREE event at the colourful Paintworks home.

There will be something for all ages to enjoy, including an indoor food market full of treats, a sensational line up of global street food, great children’s activities, a well-stocked local bar, café, music and a whole load of love!

This year Love Food are delighted to be joined by local sculptors Hiatt Evans and Laurens Nockels who will be on hand to carve some truly amazing Jack'o'lanterns, so feel free to bring your own pumpkin with you or buy one of the gourds and pumpkins at the festival.

With a fancy dress competition, toffee apple making made with a delicious foraged berry recipe, children's capoeira workshops led by 'Filhos de Angola' and arts and crafts tables to make bat-bunting, witches hats and ghoulish masks, children will be sure to go home happy.

In the courtyard the picnic area will be home to some warming and wonderful street food.

Highlights include Ross and Ross who will be serving slow cooked lamb with home-made salsa verde, Churros Susanna's freshly made and crispy churros with a selection of chocolate dipping sauces, and the brand new Sciasciona's Italian sandwiches filled with thoughtfully selected ingredients.

With hot apple cider, hand roasted artisan coffee and great sparkling English wines to wash it down with the Halloween Love Food Festival will be the perfect end of half-term treat.
