Gluten & Lactose-Free Oktoberfest Celebrations with Herman Ze German
After an unstoppable six years, launching from humble beginnings in Brighton to the successful opening of two of the ze best German eateries in the whole of London and beyond, a comedy takeover starring funny-man Alan Carr and of course ze World Cup victory, Herman ze German maintains its sausage supremacy with the opening of a third London wurst parlour this October.
Continuing in its quest to bring delicious, authentic, gluten free sausage to the capital, Herman cements its position as the best wurst in town with a brand new Charlotte Street home. Herman Ze German Fitzrovia officially opens Thursday 2nd October perfectly times to coincide with the famed Oktoberfest celebrations.
Back in 2008 when the creators of Herman ze German, Florian and Azadeh, took their beloved wurst to their local pub in Brighton, they knew they were onto a winner. As the popularity grew, the sausage sensation was taken on a tour of some of the UK's best music festivals, which in turn saw the début of the first permanent Herman ze German outpost in London's Villiers Street in 2010 and then a second shop on Old Compton Street in August 2013.
With quality, authenticity and a sense of humour at the heart of everything it does, Herman ze German serves-up a traditional menu filled with the tastiest and healthiest gluten & lactose-free Bratwurst, Chilli Beef and Bockwurst, all grilled to perfection served with toppings of choice including sauerkraut and onions.
The fresh and free range meat is sourced exclusively from a family butcher in the Black Forest, where both Florian and Azi have been visiting since they were children, plus delicious salad and air-fried chips with a mere 5% fat content will as always be freshly prepared and made on-site.
The Schni-Po-Salad offers up a tasty addition of traditional Schnitzel-Pommes-Salad. Rumour has it there will also be the launch of a Vegan Wurst that has been tried and tested to offer up an alternative to the traditional sausage.
However, it is their Currywurst that is the real draw and earned them a reputation as the best to be tasted both inside and outside of Germany. Washed down a popular or rare German beer, available on tap or bottled, Herman's culinary experience is one not to be missed.
