Christmas All Wrapped-up At Vinopolis London
Celebrate the start of the festive season with a visit to the famous Vinopolis Christmas wine tour this December.
London's premium wine and spirit tasting destination, Vinopolis, invites you to escape the cold and embark on a festive themed journey of discovery through the wine producing regions of the world.
Enjoy a warming glass of traditional mulled wine on arrival before learning how to 'swirl, sniff and slurp' like the professionals in a fascinating 'How to Taste Wine session' with a Vinopolis expert.
The 'Christmas on the Tour' package includes four regular wine tastings, three premium wine tastings, three Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne tastings, two whisky tastings and two beer tastings, as well as a delicious Bombay Sapphire cocktail in the stylish Blue Room - perfect for unwinding before the stress of the Christmas holidays.
Live festive music from jazz singer Alexandra Carter will entertain guests on the tour every Thursday and live gospel choir, Vocally Sound, will be performing carols each Saturday.
To top it all off, guests will also be treated to a delicious two-course festive lunch prepared by the award-winning Cantina Vinopolis restaurant team beneath the soaring arches of the wine tour - guaranteed to raise some seasonal Christmas cheer!
Choose from traditional roast turkey or beef with all the trimmings, salmon with new potatoes and roasted veg or squash risotto followed by a generous helping of Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. Served between 12.00 - 4.30 pm.
Visitors can also discover their perfect taste match at the indulgent Ferrero chocolate boutique every Saturday from the 26 November to learn how the Vinopolis wine experts have partnered each of the deliciously unique Ferrero treats with equally delectable wines.
Cheese and wine sampling with artisan Swiss cheese producer, Jumi, will also take place on the tour each Saturday throughout December - a must for foodies!
Round off your enchanting day in the Whisky Exchange shop, which boasts one of the largest collections of whisky in the UK, or in the Laithwaites onsite flagship store to pick up last-minute Christmas gifts or a bottle of your favourite tipple of the day.
The Vinopolis Christmas wine tour runs from Wednesday to Sunday every week throughout December (excluding 24, 25, 26, 27 December).
