Cafe Weymouth to Host Monthly Good Cause Event
Cafe Weymouth is a small, family-run cafe on the edge of Weymouth town centre, within a minutes walk from the seafront.
Serving beautiful handmade coffees, mochas, hot chocolates and Clipper teas, they also use a large proportion of locally sourced food for their breakfasts and lunch.
And with homemade cakes featuring on a regular basis, what more could this cafe do to entice you in?
Well... they are now running a monthly good cause event and on the last Friday of each month they will be donating some of their hard earned proceeds to charity.
The first of these events is this coming Friday 25th January 2013, starting at 10:00am and running right through to about 5pm.
As a local family business who are passionate about Weymouth, Portland & the beautiful county of Dorset, and who feel privileged to have access to some of the finest local food around, we started Cafe Weymouth with a view to showcasing these wonderful ingredients while keeping the cost affordable. We are fast becoming known for the
Dorset Breakfast where each element of the dish can be traced back to the farm it came from.
Whilst showcasing local food and local suppliers we also want to be an integral part of the community and to give back to the community with the launch of our monthly good cause events.
On the last Friday of every month we will hold a good cause event where we will sell homemade cakes, with all proceeds going to the chosen organisation, and we will donate a proportion of the days takings to the organisation to.
Cafe Weymouth have chosen a mix of Dorset based and national charities to support and January's chosen organisation is Marie Curie Cancer Care.
