Airfield Anarchy supports RAF Benevolent Fund
Airfield Anarchy kicks off on 13th to 14th June 2015 in support of the RAF Benevolent Fund, a great British Military Charity.
5,000 runners will be tackling miles of gruelling muddy terrain, facing up to 100 challenging obstacles including Walls, Monkey Bars and Rope Swings on an ex WWII Airbase (now the well-known events venue known as the Newark Showground).
The locations of the three live music stages will also provide a huge draw for festivalgoers.
The event organisers are anticipating up to 5,000 spectators and festivalgoers over the weekend in addition to those taking part, making this a major fixture in the UK events calendar for 2015.
Airfield Anarchy are delighted to have been chosen as one of the flybys granted this year from the Royal Air Force's acclaimed "Battle of Britain Memorial Flight" receiving flybys from Spitfires, Hurricanes and a Dakota across the weekend. This is particularly poignant given this year marks the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
The event is run for charity (the RAF Benevolent Fund) a cause very close to the hearts of families, friends and colleagues in the East of England - and strongly supported by the charity itself, and will be hosting many individuals with inspirational stories including:
- Stuart Robinson: Double amputee and Invictus Games medallist
- Jonno Lee: Inspiration RAF serviceman
- Alan Pepper: Mens Fitness "Britains Manliest Man"
- Jacqui Thomson: RAF Beneficiary
- Ray Casson: 75km challenge at Mudfest wearing full body armour

The event village has a huge range of attractions and home comforts, from hot showers to hot tubs, food and drinks stands and two large camping areas.
Families and friends will have no shortage of entertainment during the day as we have fairground rides, laser quest, kid's assault course, strength challenges and more!
