Put on your apron, dust off your mixing bowls; its competition time and we are looking for a cooking hero!

National Family Week and French’s Mustard are on the hunt for the nation’s favourite family BBQ recipe - whether that be a delectable dip, a gorgeous grilling recipe or a sensational sauce - they will reward the winning chef and their family with an all expenses, VIP trip to see the Batman Live World Arena Tour in the UK.

All they are asking is for you to design a grilling recipe that the whole family can enjoy using everyone’s favourite, French’s Mustard.

The recipe must take no longer than 25 minutes to prepare and be ready to serve, totally original to you and never published.

It can be anything from a vegetable dip to a main course. Be as imaginative as you like, just as long as it’s tasty!

The winner of the best dish as chosen by celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson, will experience the VIP treatment courtesy of French’s to see the Batman Live World Arena Tour at any of the UK arena venues with a nights accommodation.

This amazing live show will incorporate all of the trappings of the Batman universe; Batman and Robin, as well as butler Alfred, will battle many of the iconic villains such as The Joker, The Riddler, Catwoman and The Penguin in a new, original storyline created for the show.

Five runners-up will receive family tickets to the Batman Live World Arena Tour at any of the venues across the UK, while each and every entrant will be sent a bottle of French’s mustard.

There really is no reason not to join in, so get cookin’ now.

The Rules:

FRENCH’S COOKING COMPETITION – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. All recipes must include one French’s Mustard product and can include 8 additional ingredients (except salt, pepper and water) and be prepared and ready to serve in 25 minutes.
2. Your entry must be entirely your own work and its originality will be taken into account by the judges. By contributing your work to NFW and French’s Mustard you agree to grant us the right to publish and use the material in all media for all purposes in connection with the competition. Please note that entries cannot be returned.
3. The competition is only open to UK residents.
4. You must provide National Family Week Limited (NFW) with the required details if you wish to enter this competition.
5. Entries must complete the entry form online and submit a photo along with all the ingredients and recipe details. Entries submitted by any other method will only be accepted when clearly specified.
6. The Favourite Family Recipe competition opens for entries on Monday 18th April 2011.
7. All completed entries must be received by 9am on Monday 6th June 2011. Incomplete entries or those not received by the deadline will be disqualified.
8. The winning entrant will be informed by phone and email on Wednesday 15th June 2011 and officially announced to the public.
9. The winning entrant will receive 4 VIP Gotham City seats to a venue of your choice plus overnight accommodation at a top hotel. Please see www.BatmanLive.com for the full tour list of UK venues. Winning tickets valid for Monday to Friday performances, dates are subject to availability per venue. Gotham City seats are premium seats. Accommodation is inclusive of bed and breakfast. Additional services and extra will be at a cost to the winner to be settled on check out. Winning tickets reserved at the venue for collection. Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative. Travel to and from destination not included. Subject to availability.
10. Five runners up will also receive 5 Family tickets to a venue of choice. Winning tickets are valid weekday performances, dates are subject to availability per venue. Family tickets are 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Tickets will be top price seats. Winning tickets valid for weekday performances, dates are subject to availability per venue. Winning tickets reserved at the venue for collection. Winning tickets reserved at the venue for collection. Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative. 11. All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for a cash alternative.
12. In the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, Family Week Ltd. reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
13. National Family Week and sponsor French’s Mustard will be monitoring entries and may select a recipe from those entered for inclusion on their menu - see full terms and conditions below.
14. Entrants must comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes. Ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently will be automatically disqualified.
15. The competition is open to all residents of the UK excluding employees of Family Week Ltd and their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with Family Week Ltd. including employees of commercial partners contributing towards any prize.
16. To enter the competition, entrants must upload their recipe ingredients, method, an image of the dish (maximum 1MB) and a short description (maximum 100 words) of why it is their favourite family recipe to the National Family Week website (www.nationalfamilyweek.co.uk).
17. All entries displayed on the site will be subject to the public vote with users able to nominate their favourite recipe by selecting the nominate ‘button’ next to their preferred recipe.
18. The five recipes that have received the highest number of nominations by 9am on Wednesday 25th May will be made by a professional chef. These videos will then be uploaded to the National Family Week website. People can continue to vote and upload recipes. At the competition close, the top 5 voted recipes will then be sent to our panel, including representatives from French’s, National Family Week and a celebrity chef and a winner selected.
19. The contact details of all entrants will be entered into the National Family Week database. By providing these details, entrants are agreeing to receive communications from National Family and French’s Mustard. There shall be the option to unsubscribe at any time.
20. Only the winning entrant shall be contacted by Family Week Ltd. Family Week Ltd. decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. The competition finalists will be contacted personally. In the event of there being no reply from the telephone number or address supplied NFW reserves the right to offer the place in the final to a runner up.
22. Family Week Ltd. will not accept responsibility for loss of entries through technical fault and proof of submission is not automatically proof of receipt.
23. The name of the winning entrant and their recipe will be published on the National Family Week websites after the closing date of the competition and will also be put forward for possible publication in both national and regional media.
24. By entering the competition, all entrants consent to their recipe being involved in any publicity accompanying or resulting from the competition, and to be published.
25. Family Week Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this competition at anytime without prior notice. Any such changes will be posted on the National Family Week website.
26. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by the above terms and conditions and these will be governed by English law.
