M-Wines is the idea of Dorking based Kiwi wine educator and amateur chocolatier Philip Morton.
"I keep meeting winemakers making good wines that were consistent year after year, but the wines were almost made to a formula and they were frustrated. All of them have a pet project - a dream wine. So I had an idea to commission them to make the wine of their choice and put their name on the bottle."
We truly believe the quality of the wine comes from good fruit and the total freedom of the winemaker to express themselves and this shows with recent praise from Tim Atkin.
