Get ready to sing for your supper with Chip Factor!
The phrase ‘singing for your supper’ is going to become a reality for one lucky chip lover who is going to be munching a plate of chips at their dream destination somewhere in the world - thanks to the launch of ‘Chip Factor’ by X-Factor’s ‘singing dustman’, Andy Abraham.
Win a plate of chips anywhere in the world to celebrate National Chip Week 2011
To celebrate the launch of National Chip Week 2011, chip lovers across Britain will be combining three great British loves:
Chips, singing and having a good laugh with your mates to enter ‘Chip Factor’.
All chip lovers will have to do is sing one of Andy’s chip-themed songs in a style that is worthy of ‘Chip Factor’!
Top chippies around the country will be hosting ‘auditions’ to encourage people to sing for their chip suppers whilst queuing for their chips.
To find out where your nearest ‘audition centre’ chip shop is visit www.lovechips.co.uk
We’re a nation of chip-lovers – as a nation we like nothing better than a bag of hot, steaming chips. So this competition combines two of Britain’s great loves – having a great laugh with our mates and doing something a bit crazy like singing for our chip supper!
Andy Abraham
The winning entry, voted for by the public, will win the chance to eat a plate of chips anywhere in the world.
So someone could be swapping the queue in their local chippie for a bag of romantic chips at the Eiffel Tower, Paris, a warming plate of chips outside The Hermitage in Moscow or a portion of chips after catching a wave on Bondi Beach.
All they have to do is choose their favourite chip ditty, capture it on film and then upload it onto www.lovechips.co.uk.
Here’s how to take part
For chip lovers to win the chance to eat chips absolutely anywhere in the world all they have to do is:
- Choose their favourite chip-related song from www.lovechips.co.uk
- Check where their nearest participating chippie is by logging on to www.lovechips.co.uk or decide to film themselves at home.
- Get a mate to film them singing their song.
- Upload it onto www.lovechips.co.uk with their entry detail.
- Get ready to pack their salt ‘n’ vinegar in their suitcase because they could be eating a plate of chips anywhere in the world!
