Paparazzi-style celeb-spotting is usually reserved for the chi-chi boutiques of Primrose Hill or the WAG-filled night-spots of the West End – not the local chippy!
However, the tide seems to be turning for local chippies with some of the most glamorous names in showbiz not just being seen munching on a bag of chips but some of them are even getting behind the counter and serving them!
As one of the great British traditions, a visit to the local fish and chip shop is often the first port of call when a celeb hits the soil in Blighty.
When Michelle Obama made her first UK trip as the First Lady with daughters Sasha and Malia, one of their first stops was to sample a portion of traditional British fish and chips.
