Taste Cumbria Food Festival 24 - 25 September will fly the regional flag for part of British Food Fortnight. Organisers of the popular festival announced that it will be part of the region's offering of activities that make up British Food Fortnight.
The London party scene enjoyed a serving of gourmet heaven last night (Wed 15 June) as world class chefs descended upon Regent’s Park for the Taste of London Preview Night where AA Gill, Alain Ducasse and Alex James were just a few names to appear at the top of the guest list.
Saturday 1st October 2011 sees the East Midlands Food and Drink Festival returning to its Melton Mowbray roots this year, attracting thousands of visitors to the town as well as boosting footfall in the town centre.
Held every year in Ludlow, Shropshire, England 9th - 11th September the small town with the large reputation for good food and drink - this year's Festival features more than 150 top quality small independent food and drink producers from the Marches, the England-Wales border country.
Atmospheric Chartwell, the former residence of Air Commodore Sir Winston Churchill, will be brought to life by this patriotic celebration of the role of the Royal Air Force - "Yesterday and Today". The Central Band of the Royal Air Force will take centre stage for this twilight concert on the 3rd & 4th September 2011.
The UK’s biggest celebration of all things organic will be taking place throughout the month of September. Watch out for events up and down the country on organic farms, in schools, cafes, restaurants and on a high street near you. Look out also for special offers on organic products in supermarkets and independent food stores.
