Take Fat to the Rescue on Day Two at GuilFest after Tulisa's No Show

Take Fat saved the day (or night) by boldly stepping into Tulisa's slot, supporting Olly Murs, on the main stage at GuilFest today. After Tulisa's 'no-show' the brilliant Take That tribute band, Take Fat, easily and impressively filled the slot and entertained the crowd for the second time, after having played earlier in the day.

With the wettest weather recorded in recent years and festivals all over the UK being cancelled, on Friday 13th we held our breath for a similar announcement from the organisers at GuilFest. But it wasn't to be... and this unlucky day proved very lucky for thousands of revellers, who donned sunglasses and rain hats for the unpredictable weather that threatened to put an end to GuilFest 2012.

Experience a Different World Cuisine Each Night of the Olympics

Global Feast Wed 25th July to Monday 13th August is an exciting new food experience offering a different world cuisine each night of the Olympics, as diners sit round a giant sculptural model of the world that is fifteen metres long, six metres wide and over two metres tall. The model will double as both table and seating that is just a stone's throw from the Olympic Park, at Stratford Town Hall.
