Armed Forces Day 2011

This year’s Armed Forces Day (AFD) will be held on Saturday 25th June. Edinburgh will be hosting the UK national event for Armed Forces Day but as a nation we hope the whole country will be getting involved.

Womad - The World’s Festival

Alabama 3, Jazz Jamaica, Creole Choir of Cuba and others join a packed Womad bill at Charlton Park from the 28th to the 31st July 2011. Whoever it was that declared you couldn’t have too much of a good thing was absolutely spot-on.

Taste Cumbria Food Festival 24 - 25 September will fly the regional flag for part of British Food Fortnight. Organisers of the popular festival announced that it will be part of the region's offering of activities that make up British Food Fortnight.

Pascal Aussignac Awarded Best Dish at Taste of London

The London party scene enjoyed a serving of gourmet heaven last night (Wed 15 June) as world class chefs descended upon Regent’s Park for the Taste of London Preview Night where AA Gill, Alain Ducasse and Alex James were just a few names to appear at the top of the guest list.
