A Link Between Bullying and Eating Disorders

With Eating Disorders Awareness Week 20th - 26th February 2012 nearly upon us - a survey of over 600 people by Beat - the leading UK eating disorders charity - has revealed that 65% felt bullying had contributed to their eating disorder. This is a 41% increase on a similar survey carried out by the charity in 2009 which campaigns around raising self esteem and more detailed research into the link between eating disorders and bullying.
