A Week Long Festive Feast of Fabulous Food and Drink

The 2011 Real Food Christmas Market, Southbank Centre, 16th - 23rd December 2011 is a magical mix of traditional fare and gastronomic goodies conjuring up a festive feast in the heart of London.

The smells of freshly baked mince pies and exotically spiced mulled wine will mingle amongst a host of seasonal delicacies including beautiful cheeses, delicious chutneys and pickles, wild game, sublime hams and charcuterie and all manner of chocolate treats.

With over 40 producers to choose from you'll find everything you need to fill your Christmas larder and discover gifts to delight your food loving friends and family, all without the need for a panicked pre-Christmas supermarket dash.

Instead, take in the twinkling riverside fairy lights, be soothed by the sounds of Carol singing, reward yourself with a Christmas tipple and leave with your bags bursting with the very best food and drink you'll find anywhere in the UK.

On Saturday 17th & 18th December Crafty Chefs will be running childrens' cookery workshops where they can make edible Christmas presents to take home including chocolate truffles and gingerbread star tree decorations.

The Real Food Christmas Market is free to attend.
