Looking forward to Summer Shows in London

The sun is shining and the temperature is starting to rise, and what better a time than to have a look at some of the great shows making their way across London in the coming months.

Underway now and right through until the 9th April at London Olympia you will find a host of home ideas at the Ideal Home Show, which is co-hosting for the first time with the brand new Eat & Drink Festival.Katie Piper at the Ideal Home Show It is not too late to buy tickets, and if you are feeling lucky then pop over to our competition channel for a chance to win four tickets for Thursday (30/3/17).

The County Living magazine London Spring Fair is back but at a new venue for April from the 27th - 30th, at the Alexandra Palace. The show champions craftspeople and small businesses, showcasing fabrics, furnishings, accessories and more, all from hand-picked makers. The Fair is about simple pleasures: things to make, cakes to bake, talents to nurture and gifts to give.

Next month also sees the return of the London Muslim Lifestyle Show to Olympia from the 15th - 16th April; the UK's biggest celebration of Islamic fashion, food and lifestyle. The cookery theatre, hosted by BBC MasterChef winner Shelina Permaloo, will share new recipes - whilst masterpieces inspired by the tradition will be showcased in the art gallery. It is a day out for all the family, for all faiths, and a discovery of over 150 stalls showcasing the very best of Muslim culture.

If you want a bit of 'You' time then pop along to Olympia again from the 28th April - 1st May for the Mind Body Spirit London Wellbeing Festival. Presenting new ideas on relationships, awakenings, Inspired living, healthy living, yoga, mediatation and more, it has everything under one roof for complete wellbeing.

This year Hampton Court Palace Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary, taking place between Wednesday 7th June and Saturday 24th June 2017. Artists will perform to a beautiful backdrop in Henry VIII’s open air Base Court for an intimate audience of 3,000. In addition to the stellar line up, the summer festival offers luxury VIP and corporate hospitality packages, the all new Garden Feast for Two and private Waterside Gazebos.

For more healthy options and to combat those allergies, head to Olympia again from the 7th - 9th July for the Allergy & Free From Show which is running in collaboration with the Love Natural Love You.

If you are out and about in Town then afternoon tea should also be on the menu. And, with The Egerton House Hotel in Knightsbridge is offering not only gluten-free options, but also vegan afternoon teas to go along with their regular service. The vegan menu's freshly cut sandwiches feature vegan fillings such as grilled vegetables, guacamole and rocket, chickpea-coronation, cucumber and margarine and tomato and olive tapenade on sun-dried tomato bread. And of course, afternoon tea wouldn't be complete without freshly home baked scones. Both plain and fruit vegan scones are available and served with a selection of preserves.
