Grand Designs Live London, Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th May hosted by TV's design guru Kevin McCloud, is the perfect show for consumers who are seeking inspiration and expert advice for everything from home redecoration to renovations or even full scale self-build projects.

The show will play host to over 500 exhibiting companies across six dedicated sections: Grand Build sponsored by VELUX, Grand Interiors sponsored by Dulux, Grand Kitchens sponsored by Miele, Grand Bathrooms, Grand Gardens and Grand Technology.

Visitors to the 2012 show can try their hand at sustainable build techniques with workshops and demos on thatching, cobbing and more, get practical hands-on advice as well as fantastic ideas in the Grand Village, explore Kevin McCloud’s Green Heroes sponsored by Daikin, exhibition showcasing the top eco products of now, as well as take part in debates on topical issues surrounding homes and design with renowned TV & industry experts at the Grand Seminar Theatre.

They can also expect other interactive features such as FREE advice from architects and build experts in the Ask an Expert feature sponsored by VELUX and demonstrations from some of London’s top chefs in the Live Kitchen Experience, sponsored by Miele.

The show is also very proud to announce the establishment of the Grand Art Fair - a new feature that will showcase an extensive and exclusive collection of galleries from London and around the UK; marking a new development for Grand Designs Live as it breaks new moulds with no other UK home show hosting a dedicated art section to date.

Another new feature is the Nano Village sponsored by VELUX, which will celebrate Kevin's pick of the crop from the bulging Grand Designs TV archive and will sit at the heart of the live 9 day exhibition at the ExCel.

Architects will provide and display models of the homes on a nano scale, as well as plans and sketches which tell the story and inspiration behind each memorable TV house.

Grand Designs Live is based on the ever popular Channel 4 TV show, Grand Designs, which has gained a huge following in the UK over the last 10 years.
