Hickstead Arena Polo Test Match
Chris Hyde, the highest handicapped arena polo player in Europe, will captain England against the USA in the forthcoming International Arena Polo Test Match at Hickstead (Saturday 3 March).
Joining 9-goaler Chris for Team England will be Max Charlton (6) and Danny Muriel (4).
Representing the American team will be John Gobin, Carlos Galindo and Steve Krueger - all six-goal players.
England will be aiming to repeat their victory of 2009 when the two nations last met in the arena on UK soil, and get revenge for last year's defeat in the USA.
The two teams will battle it out in The All England Polo Club’s state of the art arena for the coveted Bryan Morrison Trophy.
With doors opening at 10.30am, the action will begin with a High Goal Challenge Match, before the International Test Match starts at 1.30pm.
Once the final whistle blows, guests will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the players at the post-match luncheon.
Hosted in the Members Enclosure Restaurant, which is overlooking Hickstead's famous Derby Bank and International showjumping arena, guests will be able to enjoy fine wines and a three course lunch all in the company of the elite of British and American polo.
Advanced tickets for the match cost just £5 per person, while post-match luncheon tickets are £50 per person, including admission.
Admission tickets are available from www.hickstead.co.uk/polo or contact the All England Polo Club Polo Office on +44 (0)1273 834315 to purchase hospitality or admission tickets.
