Gwyneth Paltrow dons her wellies and joins thousands with an appetite for al fresco dining at the busiest Taste of London yet.

Despite a drizzly start to the UK’s largest restaurant festival, Regent’s Park hosted 50,000 people across the four day Taste of London event (16-19 June) where world-class chefs, celebrities and those with a taste for the good life sampled over 200,000 Michelin starred dishes.

The sell-out event was made all the more successful with the launch of the new Secret Garden which played host to the likes Tristan Welch, Paul A Young, Rene Redzepi and Gwyneth Paltrow who is a regular at the festival and was this year promoting her new cookbook 'Notes from my Kitchen Table'.

We've had an overwhelming response from visitors this year who were out in force to taste some of the finest food the capital has to offer. Once again Regent’s Park was transformed into a gourmet heaven attracting visitors from around the world keen to experience a day of dining like no other!

Over £12,000 was raised at the event for the humanitarian organisation Action Against Hunger who launched its Love Food Give Food appeal with guest chefs including Theo Randall, Marcus Wareing, Cyrus Todiwala, Jun Tanaka and Mark Jankel.
