A Grand Day Out 2012
A Grand Day Out is a fun charity dog walk organised by Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation and the Kennel Club Charitable Trust and has been created to help sick children and make a difference to dogs across the UK.
Three organised sponsored walks will be taking place across the country in 2012, with the first taking place at Tyntesfield National Trust House near Bristol on the 29th July.
The second sponsored walk is taking place at Hadleigh Country Park in Essex on the 19th August and the third taking place at Belton National Trust House in Lincolnshire on the 15th September.
Each of these sponsored walks will be 3km long and there will have lots of fun and games at the finish line; bouncy castles, face painting, Scruffts (crossbreed) dog show competition, tombolas and a prize for every dog taking part.
On the weekend of the 15th and 16th September the Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation are asking the nation to host their own sponsored dog walks for their friends, families and colleagues.
