BBC presenter Simon Reeve headlines the Telegraph Cruise Show 2015
The Telegraph Cruise Show is pleased to announce that BBC presenter and author Simon Reeve will headline the show on Saturday 10 January. The award winning adventurer will offer insight into his journeys that have taken him across jungles, deserts, mountains and oceans.
Simon has travelled to more than 110 countries and presented many BBC series including Indian Ocean, Tropic of Cancer, Equator, Tropic of Capricorn, Pilgrimage and Australia. His last series, Sacred Rivers, saw him travel the Ganges, Nile and Yangtze rivers. He is currently filming Caribbean, which is due to be broadcast in 2015.
"I'm delighted to be part of the Telegraph Cruise Show and can’t wait to be put through my paces on stage during the Q&A session. It's no secret that travelling is my passion and I love any adventure that takes place on the water. Having just been travelling some of the world’s greatest rivers and been inspired by the astonishing sights and destinations along the banks, I hope my stories will inspire visitors to the Telegraph Cruise Show and help them to choose their next adventure."

Visitors to the annual show will be able to hear first-hand about Simon’s experiences via a Q&A session. The Telegraph's Head of Travel, Charlie Starmer-Smith, will be interviewing Simon on Saturday 10 January at 13.45 in the show's Destinations Theatre.
"There could be no one better than Simon Reeve to inspire us to push the boundaries of travel in 2015 - whether on land or sea. He is one of the great adventurers of our generation."

Travel enthusiasts, seasoned cruise fans and first-timers alike can enjoy travelling the globe at the show, from finding out more about specific cruise voyages and destinations to exploring the wide range of holiday types on offer including escorted tours, rail and safaris. Attendees will also be able to meet over 80 exhibitors, find their ideal cruise style and win over £30,000 of holidays in the show's daily prize draw.
P&O Cruises Food Heroes, including Saturday Kitchen presenter James Martin, international baking star Eric Lanlard and twice Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar will appear at the show, hosting a series of free cooking demonstrations, tastings and Q&A Cookery Clinic sessions. Visitors will be able to tantalise their taste buds with sample dishes from the chef’s cruise restaurants, plus have the chance to get first hand culinary advice. Rounding off the line-up, British TV presenter and wine expert Olly Smith will be hosting free wine tasting sessions.
Fun for the whole family, the younger visitors will be kept well occupied in the Kids Zone. Hosted by the Family Holiday Association, families can enjoy a fun-filled day and try their hands at giant jenga, giant pick up sticks, mini bowling and mini golf.
The show follows the success of the inaugural Telegraph Cruise Show London in January 2014 which featured more than 50 exhibitors representing every cruise style and the first regional Telegraph Cruise Show in Liverpool in October 2014. The 2014 London show saw 18,500 visitors over three days and both visitor and exhibitor feedback was extremely positive, resulting in the show being shortlisted in the Best Consumer Launch Show category at the AEO Awards (Association of Exhibition Organisers).
