In line with the Ayurvedic approach, the Skin-Radiance Exfoliating Cream comes in the range of four: for Vata (dry skin), Pitta (sensitive skin) and Kapha (oily skin) skin type, as well as in a Tri-doshic (all skin) version.

We were lucky enough to receive a trial of the creams to see just what makes them worthy of their awards.

Performance-wise, both variations worked exceptionally well. HOLISTIC ESSENTIALS use quality ingredients to leave your skin immensely soft and supple - without any trace product left behind to clutter your pores. With many exfoliating creams you can be left with a greasy residual layer once rinsed but with HOLISTIC ESSENTIALS Skin-Radiance Exfoliating Creams your skin is left residue-free.

We sampled the 'Re-Balance' (Tridoshic) - for all skin types, with Jojoba Oil and Essential Oils of Frangipani, Mandarin, Lemon and Lavender and 'Re-Energise' (Kapha) - for normal / oily skin, with Jojoba Oil and Essential Oils of Mandarin, Juniper Berry and Geranium.

Of the two samples we found the aroma of the Re-Energise more to our liking. The Re-Balance has a heavier scent that we found a little overpowering compared to the fresher, almost tea-like aroma of the Kapha. And by comparison the Re-Energise also felt better on our skin.

While both formulas are exceptionally creamy, the Re-Energise spread a little easier and felt lighter throughout testing; this is probably due to the fact that it is suitable for oily skin.

While the Tridoshic suits all skin types, the added weight in the cream would not be beneficial if you are already coping with extra oil so the need to find the right Dosha for you is essential. As we are used to having to deal with oily skin we were naturally drawn to the Kapha formula.

To ensure no reaction occurred we used both products for a continuous period and are happy to say that we saw no adverse reactions. In fact, the complete opposite, our skin certainly rewarded us with a healthier glow.

Although we would not recommend over-exfoliation of the skin, as this can be very damaging, when used in moderation we can physically feel and see the benefits of the HOLISTIC ESSENTIALS Skin-Radiance Exfoliating Creams.

Would we use them again? Definitely!
