Can an Eco-Friendly Cleaner Really Clean?

Can an Eco-Friendly Cleaner Really Clean?

In the wake of our eco2life competition, and the obvious interest from our readers, The Source decided to test the whole eco2life range to see just how it compares to the variety of products that are already available.

The eco2life range is available in three formats comprising of: -

'A Cleaning Box' that contains the complete range of cleaning products all in one box (four 'small wonder' refills, four spray bottles, four spray triggers) - everything you need to get going.
'The Starter kit', which contains a 'small wonder' refill and a spray bottle and spray trigger for each of the four products in the range.
'Small wonder' refill, the 50ml refill.

We started with the multi-surface cleaner and, since this is great for use all around the house, we decided to tackle the kitchen to see just how it cut through the grease and grim of everyday cooking.

The handy trigger spray enabled us to apply the cleaning solution directly to the areas we needed to clean - and clean we did! With a cleaning power equal to many of the major brands, we found the multi-surface cleaner did the job just as well as anything else we had used. Ecolife Multi Surface

The one job we find we avoid the most is cleaning the windows, but with the sun shining it is hard to ignore the smudges and smears so we tackled the problem with the eco2life glass cleaner.

A small spray was sufficient to clean a whole window and with a good polish we managed to achieve the hardest part of cleaning glass and were rewarded with 'smear - free' windows.

With our kitchen sparkling and our windows smear free the only thing left to clean was the floor - and the eco2life floor cleaner rewarded us with a beautifully clean floor, dealing well with the spillages in the kitchen and any tough stains.

Last but by no means least we headed to the bathroom, where the bath is notorious for a build up of soap residue and grease rings.

Another winner here from eco2life, as the bath cleaner that not only removed any soap residue but also worked on the hair dye splashes that were left from the latest beauty regime!

On the whole, we would have to say that the refill system is fantastic. With a huge reduction on the amount of waste from packaging, this product is not only environmentally friendly, it is also a lot easier on the arms when you are out shopping.

The product smells clean, without any over-powering odours and the concentrated refills are a perfect alternative to the various types of products currently available.
